NextGen is pleased to announce that the FY12 ICD-9 codes are now available for purchase.

Stay in compliance with the current code sets. These codes are being sold as a package. The ICD-9-CM codes are available now. Purchase now, and have the CPT-4 codes shipped automatically when available.

The ICD9/CPT4 codes are sold by user, per the AMA guidelines below.

Please note, if you have more than one (1) user that adheres to the AMA definition below, you will need to select the Single License Purchase "Add to Cart" option for the first user in your practice and then select the Additional User License "Add to Cart" option for users two through however many adhere to the AMA definition. Enter that incremental amount.

Codes are being sold based on the AMA guidelines and user definition.

AMA guidelines and user definition:

A "user" is an individual who:

Accesses, uses and/or manipulates CPT codes and /or descriptions contained in the electronic product either at the input (the point at which data is entered into the product), the output (the point at which data, reports, or the like are received from the products) or both phases of using the products;

or

Accesses, uses and/or manipulates the electronic product to produce or enable an output that could not have been created without CPT embedded into the product even though CPT may not be visible or directly accessible;

or

Makes use of an output of the electronic product that relies on or could not have been created without the CPT embedded in the product even though CPT may not be visible or directly accessible.
